Savannah
This past weekend I went to Savannah with AFS. Savannah is a city in South-East Georgia, on the coast. On Friday we took the day off school and started our trip there. We stayed with different host families that we got once we got there. Me and Margot stayed with an adorable family. They also had an adorable Golden Retriever puppy (so cute <3).
Together with AFS we did some sightseeing and then just hung out together. Savannah is beautiful, even though it was cold and raining most of the time. I had an amazing weekend. I felt like I really got to know the others this time. It's too bad that I don't see all of them that often.
It was also sad that we didn't get to spend that much time with our host families, but I'm very pleased with the trip in general. I had a LOT of fun, and I was exhausted when we got back. I loved Savannah.
I say this all the time, but it's so nice to talk to people who are in the same situation as you. No one else will ever really get exactly what you are going through. I am so grateful for my fellow exchanges students.
