I started of my break with a week of final exams in school. That is very different from Sweden. We usually don't have a big test on everything we've learned, at the end of a semester. Since I don't take to complicated classes, I didn't have as much to worry about as some of my friends. They were very stressed, and I don't blame them. I prefer not having a big test on everything. 

On Friday the 18th, I flew to Canada with Tom and Michael. First we visited Quebec City and then Montreal. They are both cities in the French part of Canada, so it was kind of like being in France (not that I've been to France, but I can imagine). We stayed in the old parts of town in both places, and it was SO beautiful. I fell in love with Quebec City especially. With all the Christmas lights everywhere, it was magical. 

Then we went down to up state New York (so the north part of the state, not the city). There we visited Tom's family and celebrated Christmas. It was a lot of fun meeting his family and we had a really cozy Christmas. It is definitely different from celebrating it at home in Sweden. We had good food as well, but I would lie if I said that I didn't miss the Swedish julbord haha.

Even though the trip was amazing, it was really nice to come back to Atlanta. There is no place like home. Or as we say in Sweden "borta bra men hemma bäst". 

This week, Noé (Belgian AFS student) is living with us so we've hung out and done some fun things. For example we visited a TV station and then an amazing BBQ restaurant. At the TV station we got to talk to the news anchor and the weather lady, so cool. Tonight (Wednesday), we are going to see the new Star Wars movie so YAY.
