SUMMER, SUMMER, SUMMER
Curseword. I have already finished my school year in America, can you believe that? I can't.
This past week we have had final exams, so the schedule has been kind of messed up. There has been some very boring three hour classes, but also some really funny classes for three hours (usually because no testing was involved haha).
Since I take a lot of electives (read "easy and fun classes"), my finals week was not too bad. Unlike for some of my friends who had some serious testing going on.
One thing we did not have, that I am used to, is a small graduation ceremony (even though you're not actually graduating. Does that make sense?) - a place where you calmly can say goodbye to everybody. So that was kind of sad, but I'll probably see some of them at the actual graduation this evening.
I wasn't that sad in general, because I know that I will spend time with my friends during the summer break. What was sad was saying goodbye to the teachers. Not all of them, but my favorites. I have had the honor to have some REALLY good teachers this year, and it is really sad knowing that I'll never have them as teachers again.
I am really excited about summer break though, to hang out with friends and not have school. I am NOT excited about the heat haha, it results a constant fear of melting. Wish me good luck. And have fun during the last weeks of school hehe.
